Raising the standards of Vietnamese cuisine
VTV.vn - Vietnam Culinary Culture Association was established with the goal of turning the country's culinary culture into a national asset.

Vietnamese breads and noodles are listed as some of the world's best street foods. Hanoi also ranks 2nd among 18 cities with the most attractive cuisines in the world. These are the proud titles and rankings of Vietnamese cuisine.

However, they are not enough to assert a position on the global culinary map. In this context, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association was established with the goal of turning the country's culinary culture into a national asset. Thus, turning national culinary arts into a national brand is both a goal and a responsibility of the Vietnamese Culinary Culture Association.

The association’s mission is expected to contribute greatly to tourism, as restaurants and related services account for 70% of the sector’s total revenue.

Lauding the association’s target, Nguyen Van Tuan, Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, said that it is crucial to develop cuisine culture into an outstanding tourism product of Vietnam and the association should help to introduce Vietnamese food to international visitors, he added.
