Rains affect coffee harvest

by VTV427 November 2017 Last updated at 19:00 PM

VTV.vn - Since early November, the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has witnessed continuous rains that have slowed down the harvesting of coffee and affected the quality of coffee crops, causing local farmers to suffer great losses.

During this time, coffee farmers and businesses have already harvested half of their coffee crops. However, no more than one third of crops have been collected this year due to prolonged rains. For now, farmers are advised to dry their coffee using dryers. In areas where people cannot afford to use dryers, farmers should spread their coffee out in dry and airy places to ensure the quality of coffee for processing.
