Quang Tri launches tree-planting festival

The province has nearly 250,000 hectares of forest including over 140,000 hectares of natural forest and more than 100,000 hectares of planted forest. The province also plants 2.5 million trees annually bringing the forest coverage to over 50%.

The tree planting movement is being promoted in Quang Tri province improving the ecological environment. Quang Tri Province has also called on people, organizations and the armed forces to participate in the tree planting movement for Spring 2018.
