Public investment supervision to be tightened

This is the topic of the discussion on boosting disbursement of public investment that was joined by Deputy PM Vương Đình Huệ and the Ministry of Planning and Investment on Tuesday.

Since 2016, Vietnam has for the first time implemented a law on public investment. Despite strict regulations, localities and agencies still lack experience in implementing the law, which has slowed the disbursement of public investment. In 2018, it is aimed that 100% of public investment will be disbursed.

In the coming time, the inspection teams will focus on localities and sectors that receive a lot of public investment.
