Prime Minister welcomes NASDAQ support

At the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his hope that co-operation between Nasdaq and VNG Joint Stock Company would contribute to better trade between the two countries. McCooey spoke highly of the Vietnamese government's efforts to implement policies to strongly back businesses and improve the investment environment. He told PM Phuc that Nasdaq had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with VNG on listing the company's shares on the US stock market. Nasdaq is one of the world's leading stock markets, while VNG is among the biggest internet and technology companies in Vietnam and Southeast Asia with over 2,000 employees and tens of millions of users around the globe.
