PM meets overseas Vietnamese in Berlin

VTV.vn - Departing from the State of Hessen, the state leader arrived in Berlin for the second leg of his visit on Wednesday night.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Germany.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the community of nearly 200,000 Vietnamese in Germany in enhancing relations between the two countries. The Vietnamese community in Germany now currently features some 15,000 small and medium sized enterprises.

The leader stressed that the overseas Vietnamese community is an integral part of the nation, stating that the Party and State emphasise the protection of interests of overseas Vietnamese.

He urged the Vietnamese community to promote their solidarity and continue to work as a bridge between the two countries.
