Pakistan summons US ambassador after president Trump’s angry tweet
VTV.vn - In his first tweet of the new year, US president Donald Trump blamed Pakistan, saying "the united states has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years,
And they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools". Pakistan immediately summoned the US. ambassador in protest against President Trump's tweet. Relations between the US and its uneasy ally Pakistan have been strained for many years over Islamabad's alleged support for Haqqani network militants, who are allied with the Afghan Taliban.
