Oxen race in An Giang on National Day
VTV.vn - Oxen racing is how the Khmer people in An Giang Province celebrated National Day this year. Hundreds of locals flocked to Ro Pagoda, An Cu Commune, Tịnh Biên District to participate in the traditional event.
25 pairs of oxen competed to select the best four pairs for the final rounds.
The ox racing event attracted many photographers and spectators as this is one of the most special traditional practices of the Khmer people in An Giang Province.
The event was also a chance for Khmer locals to gather and celebrate after a long period of hard work.
