Organisation celebrates 9 years of free heart surgery for children

VTV.vn - A humanitarian program that provides free heart surgery for children has been running for 9 years. A ceremony entitled "Continuing the dream" was held on Sunday to celebrate the success of the program.

So far there have been 3,500 boys and girls that have received free heart surgery in the past 9 years. This is the result of the support of more than 10,000 domestic and international individuals and organisations for children. The program has also screened congenital heart disease for 34,000 children in 30 remote areas.
