Old houses in Quang Nam Province in need of restoration

Tien Phuoc District in the central province of Quang Nam is well-known for a wide range of old houses. However, most of these houses are now on the verge of collapsing, which has been a big worry for local residents. Meanwhile, the authorities have proved unable to find enough funds to support people in the restoration of their houses.

Tien Phuoc District has 2 old villages which were recognised as provincial cultural sites. The district also has developed a plan for developing tourism in the two villages. However, the bad condition of these old houses is a big hindrance to the plan.
