No Vietnamese casualties reported after earthquake in Japan

VTV.vn - At least 3 people were killed and more than 200 were injured after a 6.1 magnitude quake hit Osaka in western Japan. No Vietnamese have been reported injured or dead as of 7pm Monday, according to the Vietnamese embassy in Osaka.

The earthquake struck the north of Osaka at a depth of about 13 kilometers, the Japan Meteorological Agency said. The strongest tremors were in the north of Osaka.

The quake rattled large parts of western Japan including Kyoto. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that the Japanese government is currently assessing the damage and that its top priority is the safety of its residents.
