Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City's Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan reiterated this commitment at a meeting between the city's officials and the start-up community.
The event was also an opportunity to review the city's start-up and innovation project over the past year and discuss future directions. Local authorities guaranteed they would continue simplifying administrative procedures related to business registration and capital disbursement.
Ho Chi Minh City's authorities also aim to match the speed of administrative processing of developed countries such as Singapore.
Secretary Nhan also assured that city officials will continue to hold dialogues with start-ups twice a year.
