National conference on natural disaster prevention

The PM asked ministers and local governments to be more aware of natural disasters and to take responsibility in preventing and coping with them. The PM proposed 6 points in natural disaster prevention and safety. In case of such events, it is essential that the government call for support from the private sector.

The PM also emphasized the importance of risk management, saying that it is not enough to fix the damages caused. The prevention of natural disasters needs to be carefully considered in terms of economic development plans. It was also noted that the PM would read and listen to opinions of scientists to construct a Decree on natural disaster prevention.
