National Assembly closes 3rd plenary session

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan took the opportunity to review this month's proceedings and their outcomes. 

Closing the 3rd plenary session of the 14th National Assembly today, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân delivered a speech to praise the spirit of constructive debate and innovation among National Assembly deputies. This session passed 12 new laws and 12 resolutions, and considered 6 draft laws. Among these, the National Assembly passed a resolution on resolving bad debts and collateral for all state-owned financial institutions. The resolution aims to ensure transparency and guarantee the rights of these firms.The amendment to the construction law will, however, require further investigation for approval in the upcoming sessions.

The National Assembly Chairwoman asked all deputies to continue monitoring the needs of the people and the performance of the legislative system.
