NA Chairwoman visits India

The visit followed an invitation from the Indian Senate President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Speaker of the Lower House Sumitra Mahajan. It aims to put meat on the bones of the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership and deepen ties in the context of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership next year. It also looks to extend relations between Indian and Vietnamese legislatures, laying a foundation for long-term bilateral ties.
