Following the success of the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2021, with the desire to replicate the new learning method throughout the country, stimulate the active learning spirit of students at all levels through activities that develop memory and promote creative ideas, the Vietnam Record Institute cooperated with Vietnam Television to organize the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2022 for individuals. and teams.
The Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest is expected to air before the new 2022-2023 school year and last until December 2022.
One of the reasons the show was chosen to air now is because 2022 is a special school year, marking the return of students from across the country to in-person classes after a long time of studying and taking exams online due to severe effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the same time, the team organizing the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2022 also hopes that the program will provide students with a fun playground, an effective way to learn, promote creativity, and help them move forward.
Revamped Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2022
In the first year of the show, 2021, the Mind Mapping Contest was held in Vietnam in the form of an online exam, attracting more than 10,000 contestants showing the interest and appeal of this learning method for parents and students.
And following this response, the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2022 will be renovated in terms of organization. Instead of just taking the exam online, in the second year, the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest will have 2 competitions: on TV and online.
In which, the Vietnam mind mapping competition in team category for primary school students will be broadcast on television; the Vietnam Mind Map Contest in the category of individual (for students from grades 1 to 12) will be held on a digital platform.
Team competition:
Participants in the team competition are students from grades 4 and 5 of elementary schools across the country. Students who wish to participate in the competition can form their own team or register at the school they attend to form a competition team. There is no limit on the number of teams per school.
A team will have three members, of which only one member is a grade 5 student. Schools/teams can complete the online registration form on the website: www.vtv7.vtv.vn or www.vmindmap.vn . The registration deadline is June 19, 2022.
By participating in this tournament, the teams will participate in a mind map drawing skills training organized online. The training schedule will be specifically notified by the organizers to schools that have teams registered to participate in the competition. The teams in turn will compete in the Qualifiers, Semifinals, Finals with many attractive prizes for the winning team in the three rounds.
The Mind Map Contest qualifying round of the team category will air from August 2022 to December 2022 at 12:30 a.m. every Saturday on VTV2 and at 11 a.m. on Sundays on VTV7.
48 official teams will be invited to Hanoi and will participate in matches to choose the champion team.
Each match has the participation of three teams.
The total value of the individual and team prizes of the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2022 will be up to almost 3 billion VND. Specifically, the prizes of the team awards are the following:
1. Team Award:
The team that won the first prize in the qualifying matches: 5 million VND/team.
The team that won the first prize in the semi-finals: 10 million VND/team.
The team won the first prize at the end: VND 50 million/team.
The most talented members will have the opportunity to be selected by the organizing committee to the list of contestants to participate in the World Mind Mapping Competition.
In addition, the teams will receive gifts, certificates of participation in the contest and certificates of merit issued by the organizing committee.
The special thing about the Final Round:
While the contest has two prize structures: Team Prize and Individual Prize - produced and broadcast on two different platforms (team prize on television and individual prize on digital platform), but in the final, the public will be able to watch the live broadcast of both contests on television.
The final round of the Vietnam Mind Mapping Contest 2022 and the award ceremony are expected to be broadcast live on December 18, 2022 on two channels VTV2 and VTV7 of Vietnam Television. Organizers will select the most talented candidates to represent Vietnam in the World Mind Mapping Competition.
