Lao people's revolutionary Party founding marked

At his meeting with deputy head of the LPRP's Commission for External Relations Somphone Sychaleun, Ambassador Hung congratulated Laos on its great achievements in development and defence over the past 62 years under the LPRP.

Sychaleun extended his thanks to Vietnam for its support over the past six decades. He noted that 2017 was important for the countries as they are celebrating the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 40 years of the Treaty of Co-operation and Friendship.

This would be a good chance for both sides to educate the public on the significance of the special and unique ties between Vietnam and Laos, he noted.
