Japan welcomes Vietnamese workers
VTV.vn - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Skills Internship Programme was signed on Saturday in Tokyo between Vietnam's Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and IM Japan, the Japanese international human resources training agency.

Accordingly, visa extension for Vietnamese labor trainees in Japan is up to five years. Meanwhile, those who perform well during the internship can receive as much as 5 million yen or more than 42,000 USD. IM Japan will also provide distant training support to those who are eligible to complete five year internship in Japan to open their own businesses with a maximum support fund of 8,500 USD. IM Japan has sent 3,000 Vietnamese to Japan to work so far. Many of them come from poor families in remote and mountainous areas.
