Japan ties strengthened

At the meetings, the Vice-President praised the co-operation between Kyushu and localities in Vietnam, especially the co-operation between Fukuoka with Hanoi on economics, education and the environment. On the same day, the vice president attended a meeting a gathering of Kyushu and Vietnamese business people and at the Chikusino Agricultural Research Centre in Fukuoka. Prior to the meetings, Vice President Thinh had a meeting with Vietnamese students in Fukuoka city on Sunday. She hailed their efforts and achievements, as well as their activities to promote the Vietnamese culture in Japan.
