Japan co-operates on Thua Thien-Hue natural disaster prevention
VTV.vn-Vietnam's Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control in cooperation withthe Japan International Co-operation Agency is carrying out a pilot project on management of reservoirs and flood with a data management system
This system is set to provide the localities with input about rain and water levels in reservoirs and downstream Huong River areas. It will also produce early flood warnings. The pilot project is funded by Japanese ODA, worth about 18 million US dollars.
