IT personal recruitment peaks

VTV.vn - Recruitments in the IT sector in Vietnam back in 2013 was at nearly 6,800, but the figure increased to 15,000 in 2016, according to Vietnamworks, one of the leading online job recruitment agencies in Vietnam.
As such, demand for IT personnel increased by 2.2 times over the 4-year period and reached its peak. HCMC remains the IT hub of the country with 53% of job recruitments.
Meanwhile, 46% of job recruitment was in Hanoi in 2016. Also according to Vietnamworks, 15 years ago, most IT recruitment was for software outsourcing, but it's now moved towards the service sector.
