Intangible cultural heritage receives national recognition

Kim Bong Woodwork has existed since the 15th century. It gained reputation from the intricate home furniture, sculptures and engravings in the mausoleums of Nguyen dynasty emperors.

Kim Bong wood artisans have contributed to the conservation and restoration of Hoi An Ancient Town's historical sites and structures. Meanwhile, Thanh Chau Bird's Nest dates back hundreds of years ago and has been recorded in many historical documents.

The recognition of these intangible heritage arts is intended to boost conservation activities and promote their cultural value.
