Hungary has been a key supporter of Vietnam in terms of education and training since relations were formed in the 1950s. Hungary has provided scholarships to Vietnamese students for decades.
Many have returned and became government officials or had successful careers in other fields.
Hungary has given education and training to nearly 4000 Vietnamese students and interns.
These students study mainly in health, education, IT and agriculture. In the coming time, Hungary and Vietnam will extend scholarships to tourism, hotel management, and send Hungarian teachers to Vietnam.
