VTV.vn - If you are planning to visit Sa Dec, there is a specialty you surely won't want to miss: the Hu Tieu Noodle.

Sa Dec city in Dong Thap Province is known for its unique cuisine, which reflects the remarkable culture and traditions of the southern province.

For about half a century now, this 20 square-meter food stall has been located in the heart of the crowded Sa Dec city. Hu Tieu is the only dish on their menu. Hu Tieu is a type of seasoned noodle that comes with pork. The most important ingredient, the noodle, must be milky white, soft, sticky and fragrant, while the sauce is usually made with pig bones.

Mrs Tang Tien Hung is part of the second generation of her family to sell Hu Tieu at this stall. Her children also help with the job. In addition to its unique taste, another reason why her food stall is so popular is its price.

Tang Tien Hung, Mrs Sẩm Hu Tieu Noodles, Sa Dec City, Dong Thap province said: The smallest bowl here is 25 cents and the special one is nearly 50 cents. There are so many diners here everyday. I don't need to raise the price for a higher profit.

Hu Tieu is a popular and inexpensive dish in Sa Dec city. You can find this dish almost everywhere in the district, but the best one comes from Mrs Sẩm's Hu Tieu Noodles.
