Ho Chi Minh City to improve river tourism

The event focused on finding out which methods can improve river tourism in the area. It was pointed out that the current packages and tourism products are not diverse enough and lack a main attraction.

The rivers are also still quite polluted. Some of the solutions that were proposed at the event included forming a suitable development plan, creating unified connections between the agencies involved, and utilizing additional services to meet customer demands, especially for tourists.

Ho Chi Minh City has a great potential for water-way tourism with about 1,000 km of rivers and canals running through historical sites and fruit gardens. a water-way tour will give travelers a chance to explore cultural and historical sites, architectural works and cuisine along river banks.
