Ho Chi Minh City to host IPU symposium

VTV.vn - Thirty two parliament leaders of IPU member countries in the Asia Pacific Region and 10 observer countries will come to Vietnam to attend an Inter-Parliamentary Union symposium in Ho Chi Minh City from May 11-13.

The symposium will provide a venue for regional legislatures and lawmakers as well as international donors and organisations to share experience and foster co-operation in implementing the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong discussed the preparations for the event with HCM City authorities on Wednesday.
