High tides ravage Phu Yen's coast

VTV.vn - High tides have wiped out the biggest shipyard in the Central Province of Phu Yen and are seriously threatening the safety of Xóm Rớ Dyke and a ship cove near Đông Tác Port.

Phu Yen's biggest shipyard was responsible for building thousands of boats every year.

Now it's nothing more than a sea of rubble. The ship cove, which currently shelters 600 vessels, is currently being threatened by landslides due to strong waves. This has made boat entries and exits extremely difficult. Xóm Rớ Dyke is now facing a serious threat of erosion. Local authorities are accelerating efforts to strengthen the dyke and prevent it from total collapse.
