This is part of the plans for the Hanoi Railway Station and surrounding areas announced by Hanoi authorities. Specifically, the station will serve as the central station for domestic and international express trains and also as a centre for shopping and cultural activities.
At the same time, the station will also have an underground area where urban railway routes number 1 and 3 will pass through.
