The Hanoi City Tourism Development on October 7 launched the Tourist Information and Support Centre at 28 Hang Dau Street in Hoan Kiem District with the aim of providing useful information and support for visitors seeking to discover the capital city

Located nearly Hoan Kiem Lake, which is a tourist attraction in downtown Hanoi, the centre has been tasked with updating visitors on destinations in Hanoi and Vietnam in general, helping them to get access to tourist services such as the transportation system, restaurants and hotels.

A 24/7 hotline at +84 941 336 677 is also available to provide remote support and receive enquiries and complaints from tourists.

Works of art and souvenirs are also on sale at the centre.

Notably, the centre will offer visitors four walking tours to discover Hanoi’s Old Quarter and places in the vicinity of Hoan Kiem Lake.

The tours, operated by the Vietnamtourism–Hanoi Joint Stock Company, focus on four main themes: the history and culture of Hanoi, distinctive architecture in Hanoi, craft streets in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and the harmony between Western and Eastern cultures in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

The tours are available from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. from Wednesday to Sunday. Each lasts for 90 minutes and is presented in Vietnamese and English. Visitors can book tours directly at the centre or via the hotline’s number.

With the inauguration of the tourist centre and the four free tours, Hanoi’s tourism sector expects to improve service quality and promote the hospitality of the capital city to visitors from home and abroad, thereby attracting more visitors to the city.
