Ha Le: I want to show 'Vietnamese material' on the Harmony program
VTV.vn - By participating in the Harmony Art Exchange Program, Ha Le said he wanted to bring "Vietnamese materials" into music and introduce them to international friends.

Before the official Vietnam-Japan arts exchange program titled "Harmony" was held at Ho Guom Theater in Hanoi tonight (01/12), artists from both countries held a rehearsal. Ha Le, one of the Vietnamese artists who performed in the show, expressed his surprise, joy and honor at receiving the invitation from the organizers to participate in the show.

"In the past, I have had the opportunity to perform in other arts exchange programs, but this is the first time with Japan. So, I am very excited and looking forward to tonight's performance," Ha Le said during the rehearsal.

Ha Le revealed that in addition to his solo performance, he will have two performances with rapper Phao: "The two songs we will perform are based on typical Vietnamese melodies that we have remixed".

"Harmony is an arts exchange program, so Phao and I also want to bring all kinds of "Vietnamese materials" to introduce to international friends. We will also wear stylized Ao Dai tonight to show them this beauty" - revealed Ha Le - "Phao and I have rehearsed 3-4 times before the show for this performance, so we are very excited and eager to perform".

The singer said he chose to perform solo with the song "Sea of Memory" by musician Trinh Cong Son because the talented late musician and his compositions are well known to the Japanese, including Diem Xua. He said he would like to remix another song by Trinh Cong Son to dedicate it to everyone.

The Harmony program is jointly produced by the Department of Arts Programs - Vietnam Television, the Ministry of Public Security and SANYU (Japan) Company on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

The program will be aired on Sunday (December 10) at 20:10 on VTV1. Stay tuned!
