Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh visits fishermen in Quang Binh
Deputy PM Trương Hòa Bình visited several coastal communes in Quảng Bình Province to learn about fishermen's expectations and the recovery of the local fishing industry 2 years after the Formosa incident. He also went to a shipyard where large fishing vessels are being built. Speaking with the Deputy PM, the fishermen showed their gratitude for the government's support and expressed their delight at recent catches.
Ha Tinh recovers from marine environment incident
Also on Wednesday morning, Deputy PM Trịnh Đình Dũng inspected compensation and support initiatives for fishermen in Hà Tĩnh Province. He visited the Thiên Cầm tourism site in Cẩm Xuyên District. After 2 years, this tourism site has seen positive changes and has welcomed more than 430 thousand visitors. Later on, the Deputy PM also visited fishermen in Trung Tân Hamlet, Kỳ Khang Commune, Kỳ Anh District and requested that local authorities put in more efforts to help locals regain stability in their lives.
