German embassy denounces visa rumours

The German mission in Vietnam has denounced all of these rumours. The statement claims that Germany has not stopped granting visas to Vietnamese citizens. Any delays in visa processing are due to an overload of applications. Hence, Vietnamese diplomatic authorities have advised that Vietnamese citizens prepare plans to visit Germany early and only trust official information from the German Embassy in Vietnam and the German Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City.
