VTV.vn - The Ministry of Health and the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province on Tuesday held an event to raise awareness of the need to reduce gender inequality at birth.

Gender inequality at birth is still increasing in 56 out of 63 provinces and cities. This could lead to later marriages, men remaining unmarried, increased prostitution, women being trafficked, and potentially more divorce.

This issue in Vietnam stems from gender inequality. In order to solve it, there needs to be more events that will help people better understand the negative effects of gender inequality, especially those that target men and the elderly.

If this issue is not solved, it could have an adverse effect on the population and society at large.
