Foreign language shop signs to be restricted

This is the direction from the Department of Local Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Province has to further popularize regulations on advertisement boards and shop signs that are specified in the Law on Advertising.

Specifically, shop signs must have shop names as written in the business certificates. Shop signs and advertisement boards must be written in Vietnamese. If foreign languages are included, their text sizes must not be bigger than three quarters of those of Vietnamese words. Foreign text must be put below Vietnamese text.
