Fishermen in Quang Ngai begin first offshore fishing trip of the year

VTV.vn - After good catches from near shore fishing in the first few days of the lunar year, fishermen in Quang Ngai province have been busy preparing for offshore fishing trips in the fishing areas of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

To them, this is not only a livelihood, but also helps protect the country's territorial sea. After the worshipping ceremony, thousands of offshore fishing vessels have taken off for Hoang Sa and Truong Sa’s fishing areas. Quang Ngai fishermen contribute to economic growth as well as protect the sovereignty of the country’s territorial waters.
