VTV.vn - After a period of preparation, the first batch of lychees from Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province has been exported by the Central Group Corporation and Big C Vietnam to Thailand.

The exported lychees were carefully selected using VIETGAP standards. After initial processing and cleaning, the lychees' stems were removed and the fruits were placed in styrofoam boxes to ensure a temperature of 2-5 degrees Celcius. The lychees were canned and stamped with origin indications, according to international standards. According to the plans, this batch of lychee will be sold at Tops Supermarket and food centres in Bangkok, Thailand in the next few days. Thailand also produces lychees, which means that the exported Vietnamese lychees should be of high quality to be able to compete in this market.
