FDI Increases 77% in Q1
VTV.vn - Foreign Direct Investment to Vietnam increased over 77% in the first quarter of this year. Currently, there are over 23 thousand valid foreign projects worth about 301 billion US dollars.

The manufacturing sector has become a magnet for FDI in the country, absorbing 176 billion US dollars, accounting for 59.3% of total registered capital. South Korea topped 116 countries and territories with total registered capital of 54 billion US dollars, accounting for 17.9% of total registered capital. Ho Chi Minh city ranked first out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide in attracting FDI with nearly 46 billion US dollars. The city was followed by Bình Dương, Bà Rịa- Vũng Tàu and Hanoi.
