EC starts inspection of Vietnam's fisheries

The delegation will work independently and will not give notice to inspection sites. The investigation will impact EC's decision to remove the yellow card for Vietnam's fisheries.

The inspection will last for 9 days. Prior to the field visits, the EC delegation has been working with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and its relevant units. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong asserted that authorities will support the working team in the spirit of transparency.
