Dutch tram attack may be terrorism, police say

The police found a note in the gunman's getaway car after Turkish-born suspect Gokmen Tanis was arrested on Monday evening. The content of the note was not disclosed. However, the police stressed that it indicated the connection between the gunman and terrorists. The Turkish intelligence agency was also investing the suspect and found that some of the suspect’s family members had connections with some Islamic extremist groups. The shooting on Monday left at least three people dead and seven injured.
