Draft law on special administrative-economic zones discussed

Policies set forth in the draft law focus on creating a new platform for special economic zones (SEZs), thereby boosting the competitiveness of these zones, not just in Vietnam but internationally. The draft Law on Special Administrative-Economic Zone would also create the legal basis to promote the construction of Van Don, Bac Van Phong and Phu Quoc special zones, which are expected to be catalysts for economic growth in Vietnam.
