Da Nang to host international beach travel mart

VTV.vn-The International Beach Leisure and M.I.C.E Travel Mart (BMTM Da Nang 2016) will be held for the first time in the central city of Da Nang from June 24-26, announced by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at a press conference on June 15th

The mart will feature more than 172 pavilions, including 46 from 31 provinces and cities around the country, 12 from three travel management agencies, 13 from four airlines, 58 from 23 hotels and resorts, 25 from 14 travel businesses and 18 from 13 culinary and souvenir units.

The organising board have also received orders from 100 foreign buyers from numerous countries including the Republic of Korea, China, Japan, the US, Canada, Australia, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar; as well as 70 domestic ones from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Dak Lak, Hai Phong, Kien Giang and Bac Giang.

The event will see the attendance of 20 press agencies and eight tourism bloggers from Vietnam and foreign countries such as the RoK, Japan, China, Germany, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia and Russia.

In addition, the mart is expected to welcome around 7,000 both domestic and foreign visitors.

During the fair, partners and visitors will have a chance to participate in numerous important events including seminars on beach leisure and M.I.C.E and introducing travel markets in China, Japan and the RoK as well as friendship Golf Tournament.

A wide variety of arts and tourism simulation activities will also be held on the occasion, including offering discounted tours, air tickets, tourism services and entrance fees to tourism destinations, culinary festivals and exhibitions on relic sites and destinations in Da Nang.

The BMTM Da Nang 2016 is an important tourism event, contributing to boosting tourism stimulus in Vietnam, attracting more tourists to Vietnam, particularly the central region. The event will also offer an opportunity for domestic and international travel enterprises to enhance co-operation and expand their potential markets.
