Control station in Đắc Tà Oọc Border Gate finished

The site is a testament to the close ties between Vietnam and Laos.

The station was built at the Đắc Tà Oọc Border Gate in Đắc Chưng District in the Laos province of Sê-kông. At nearly 1,300 square metres, it is intended to monitor trade across the Laos - Vietnam border. It will play a key role in combating smuggling and counterfeit products, protect order, maintain security and contributes to developing the local economy in Laos and central region of Vietnam.
