China enhances defense ties

The two sides agreed to promote defense co-operation, co-ordinate in organizing the 5th China - Vietnam Border Defense Friendship Exchange this year.

Deputy Minister of Defense Nguyen Chi Vinh said that Vietnam hoped to strengthen ties between Vietnam's Defense Academy and China's National Defense University, as well as other Vietnamese institutes and schools with appropriate Chinese partners.
