Catholics will contribute more to Vietnam’s development

During her reception for priest Tran Xuan Manh who is acting Chairman of The Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics on Friday, Politburo member and Head of the Mass Mobilisation Commission of the Party Central Committee Truong Thi Mai highly appreciated the Catholic Committee's activities in encouraging Vietnamese Catholics to contribute to socio-economic development campaigns as well as national security.

The Politburo member expected the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics to coordinate tightly with the Mass Mobilisation Commission in popularising information on religions and the country's development. Priest Tran Xuan Manh pledged to fulfil those tasks in the coming time.
