VTV.vn - Enterprises in Da Nang face various difficulties, such as land and administrative issues.

Acknowledging these challenges, the city has fostered meetings with firms to find solutions. Da Nang City leads the provincial competitiveness index, however, enterprises still struggle due to limiting administrative procedures. Such problems are often discussed during meetings between enterprises and authorities.

"Da Nang authorities apply strict punishments to breaking the law. I myself punished a number of subordinates in cases with clear evidence of violations", said Nguyen Xuan Anh - Party Committee Secretary of Da Nang City.

There are already opportunities for enterprises to express their opinions and ask for support from authorities. However, more meetings are needed with city leaders.

"There should be more for room for discussion and dialogue with enterprises, through which firms’ opinions are heard and understood by the city leaders. This way, problems would be timely solved", said Huynh Tan Vinh - Chairman of Da Nang City Tourism Association.

"A specific body should be established to solve problems addressed by enterprises, and also to monitor the support of agencies when enterprises are in need", said Le Thi Nam Phuong - Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City Young Enterprise Association.

Annual dialogue with enterprises will not be sufficient to address all the problems that businesses encounter.

"To help enterprises solve their problems quickly, we need to have monthly dialogues between the authority and enterprises themselves", said Huynh Duc Tho - Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee.
