Asia-Pacific Tv Broardcasters strengthen ties

VTV.vn - The 103th session of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Administrative Council Meeting kicked off on Friday in Hội An Ancient Town, Quảng Nam Province.

The event was hosted by Vietnam Television to discuss key content of TV broadcasting, and attracted about 50 senior managers and directors from TV stations in the Asia-Pacific region.

Delegations brought up a number of topics such as TV news exchange, TV services, training cooperation, raising competitiveness of TV broadcasting in the era of media and social networks, as well as copyrights of famous sport events, technology transfer, and frequency exchange.

Vietnam Television has made notable contributions to the ABU including ABU Robocon, ABU Doc, ABU Care or ABU Songs Festival.

ABU Administrative Council has 16 members. VTV was elected to the Council in 2014 at the ABU General Assembly in Macau, China.
