A successful year for Vietnam's tourism industry in 2017

VTV.vn - In 2017, Vietnam's tourism sector remained robust as the country welcomed more than 13 million foreign visitors and served 73.2 million domestic tourists.

This was considered a huge achievement for the sector as the number of foreign arrivals had risen by 3 million against last year.

Citizens from 40 countries are eligible to apply for e-visas. In addition, the government has continued to implement the visa exemption policy for citizens of five Western European countries.
