To commemorate this milestone, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam organized a seminar on "Vietnam-France relations from a geo-politic viewpoint". This is also a chance for international historians and diplomats to re-evaluate the cooperation between the two countries and identify opportunities and challenges in the time to come.
According to experts, Vietnam and France have been witnessing more favorable conditions in enhancing cooperation, especially after the historic visit to France in March by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The visit was considered to have opened up new opportunities for French-Vietnamese relations in the time to come.
