Here is some important news for anyone planning to travel in the near future. More than 40,000 cheap air tickets and 15,000 discounted tour packages will be offered at the 6th Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM), which is scheduled to run from March 29th to April 1st in Hanoi.
This year's VITM is expected to welcome both foreign and domestic travel agencies from South Korea, Japan, France, the UK, Germany, and Australia.
This year’s VITM will also feature workshops in which both domestic and foreign experts will share their experience on the development of online tourism in several IT and travel businesses, such as mobile internet, smart apps, Big Data and automation.
So far, 679 enterprises from 45 provinces and cities from across the country, as well as 21 countries and territories from around the world, have registered to join the mart. The event is expected to consist of 500 pavilions.
The International Street Food Festival will be one of the highlights of the festival, introducing street food from Vietnam and other countries in the region. A ceremony will also be held to honour Vietnamese culinary artisans and chefs for their contributions.
