The walk attracted the participation of 20,000 teachers and students of all districts across Hanoi. This was the 2nd of event of this kind and was a part of the 'Dynamic Vietnam' sporting series under a project to improve physical attributes of the Vietnamese. This project aims to promote proactive lifestyle, exercise and passion for sports among youngsters. The organisers have also taken this chance to donate 60 basketball hoops to 60 primary schools in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
